I specialize in assisting professionals to find their perfect loft space
I’ve always been a balance of risk and creativity. Born in Hungary, I’ve always envisioned myself living in a free country and that country has always been Canada. At the age of 19, I took my chances and moved continents without speaking the language. I welcomed the challenge and quickly adopted to my home and learnt from others around me.
Once in Canada, I attended Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver. I graduated with a Degree in Art Direction. It was the best investment I could have made in myself, and I began my career as an Art Director at Ogilvy & Mather. At night, I was also a house DJ. Through my time in the advertising and music worlds, I learned about the value of creativity - something that I bring into my work as a realtor every single day.
I first came to real estate 16 years ago after having been laid off from my advertising position. They went through restructuring and at that point I decided to make a change. I went into real estate on some friends’ advice and haven’t looked back since.
I believe where you live should be much more than just the place you live; it should truly be your home.
Lofts allow you to be more flexible with designing your own individual space. The ceiling height alone (I’ve seen lofts with ceilings upwards of 20 feet), will give options to install large pieces of artwork and make you feel like you are in a much larger space even if the square footage is not overwhelmingly large. The uniqueness of hard lofts with their polished concrete floors, exposed ductwork, wooden ceilings, post and beam construction are as far from the “cookie cutter” as you can get. that’s what makes this feature so rare, and popular for anybody looking for something “different.” Art Deco, Mid Century if those are terms you are familiar with and LOVE - you are a loft lover at heart.
My own life story reflects what I do believe: that you are your own best investment. When you invest in the kind of space that supports your wellness and your happiness.
For me, as a truly tall 6’5” person, when I first walked into a loft it was my AHA moment. I felt home. I felt I could breathe, I have found my true living space. From that moment on it has been my goal to learn all I could about lofts and help others to experience the freedom such spaces allow you to have. To create your own space instead of agreeing to live in a “shoebox.”
I have learned over time, that it's not my ability to have all the answers, but helping my clients to make the best decisions. My value is in the way I communicate with my clients, how thoroughly I research and follow up on details, and helping craft a plan that is tailored to them. Sometimes I agree, and sometimes I don't. When I do that, it resonates.
Demonstrating that confidence, knowing you have their backs, that allows for candor and honesty. Both of which I can't and won’t fake.
